Nice little kit of a 1980’s Warsaw Pact mainstay.  No major headaches, though it is fiddly in places.

Not bad for a short-run kit, though it has its moments.  This little Yak-3 required a bit more thought than usual to get it working, as the biggest challenge was the fit of the landing gear bays.

Kinetic has taken a significant step up with this kit.  The fiddly landing gear are the only downside to a kit that is otherwise a joy to build.

For a kit that dates from the 1980s, Tamiya’s HMS Prince of Wales is surprisingly nice.  I backdated it to the ship’s May 1941 configuration at the Denmark Strait.
